Mid Summer run.....

I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July Weekend.  Just a couple of months and our summer will be over.
Typically our Real Estate "Peak" Season would be over as well, however Corpus Christi is not in the "typical"
market at the moment.  We are still going strong and no sign of slowing just yet.  With that being said interest
rates are starting to creep up.  Just last quarter we were in the low 3% today we are seeing interest rates with
a range from 4 - 4 1/2 percent or higher. What does that mean for the prospective buyer?  It means that the house payment may have increased by $100 if not more.  The amount that you qualify for may be less today then
what it was a few months ago.  If you are a purchaser on the fence, now would be the time to make your move.
We have a lot going on in Corpus and surrounding communities.  Portland/Gregory has the steel mill, our Port is
now the 5th largest Port in the United States, The oil/gas Eagle Ford Shale has brought a lot of business opportunity
our way and now on the Island Schilitterbahn  Water Park is underway and the latest news a Resort has also been
approved ground breaking to start soon. We are slowly  seeing not just interest rates inching up but also sales prices
are increasing.  Don't miss out on a great opportunity to purchase a new home, whether it be for your personal residence or an investment property.  Please do not hesitate to call, text or send me an email if you should have any questions,
comments or concerns regarding all of your Real Estate matters.
